Song 1: Ananda Narthana Ganapathi
This is one of the inspired visions of the dance of Lord Ganesha. Incorporated with complex jathis, the poet’s fondness for dance matches that of his music. The song starts with musical syllables denoting the expression of the dance of the Lord, where the poet addresses Him as the Chidaakara or the one with the small form,  the Mooladhara – the origin and the Omkara – the One with the elephant face that resembles the Om. In this dance of Paramanandam or supreme bliss, the Lord ably synchronises his movements to the accompanying rhythmic beats of the various played by the Gandharvas- the celestial beings.
